WHAT IS ENGINEERING COMPETITION?

In collaboration with Danish engineering companies we have created three cases related to:

  • Civil engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Software / electronics / IT engineering

A case is a problem that a business or industry is facing, and the objective of the competition is to come up with a solution to said problem. Not only are you in it to win it, but your contributions could make a difference in the real world!

As a student, participating in a case competition is also an excellent chance to showcase your problem solving skills and technical knowledge, making your name known to companies within your field.

There can be up to 10 participating teams for each case with a group size of 2-5 people.

WIN AWESOME PRIZES

We have a prize pool of 7.500 DKK for the winners of each case:

  • 1st place: 5.000 DKK
  • 2nd place 2.500 DKK

Everyone who submits a case solution will receive a physical certificate to prove their participation in DSE Engineering Competition. This can be included in your CV to show your commitment to improving your field and the world as a whole!

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The event will be held online on 18th through 23rd of November, 2020, with the cases being revealed the evening before.

We want you to be able to focus 100 % on the case at hand and not on the logistics of things, so we will provide participants with a virtual work area and contact to a company representative.

More details will be settled the closer we get to the event, so keep a close eye on your email inbox after 12th November!
